GT-Solvent Gutta Percha Solvent by Greentech is a liquid formulation used in endodontics to soften and dissolve gutta-percha. Gutta-percha is the most common material used to fill root canals after they have been cleaned and shaped. During root canal retreatment procedures, or if a post space needs to be created, the existing gutta-percha filling must be removed. GT-Solvent aids in this process by chemically breaking down the gutta-percha, making it easier for the dentist to remove it from the canal with endodontic instruments.
